One of 40 cleantech startups selected globally, CO2Concrete will present its low-carbon concrete technology to potential investors and other cleantech industry stakeholders.
Los Angeles, CA — (March 9, 2020) — CO2Concrete has been selected to present its low-carbon concrete technology to investors and industry representatives at the Virtual Industry Growth Forum (IGF) 2020, April 29-30. The IGF, celebrating its 25th anniversary, will be presented online this year. It is hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and is one of the nation’s premier events for cleantech entrepreneurs and other industry experts. CO2Concrete was selected from a field of more than 150 entrepreneurs following an extensive selection process.
CO2Concrete is advancing a technology for the production of low-carbon concrete products, which uses carbon dioxide directly from the flue gas emitted by power plants and other sources.
“We are honored to be afforded this opportunity to present at such a prestigious event,” said Gaurav Sant, Founder and CEO of CO2Concrete. “We can’t wait to showcase the CO2Concrete technology alongside the other esteemed presenters, and to make great connections in the cleantech sector.”
Several hundred cleantech investors, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives are expected to attend this year’s Virtual IGF 2020. The online event will include the pitch competition and one-on-one networking meetings, the heart of the IGF, over the course of two days. Among the attendees will be 40 of the nation’s most promising start-up companies, including CO2Concrete, that will be presenting their cleantech innovations to potential investors and industry experts. In addition, the companies will compete for the 2020 Clean Energy Venture Awards.
