The CO₂Concrete process can serve as the cornerstone of a CO₂emissions reduction program for electrical power producers with coal- and gas-fired units, cement and pre-cast concrete companies, and petrochemical companies. This is possible because of the unprecedented flexibility of CO₂Concrete process which utilizes dilute CO₂ streams, thereby avoiding the need and enormous expense for CO₂capture. Also, contributing to the flexibility of the process is its ability to tolerate common flue gas contaminants including acid gases, and particulate matter.
